She knows when to submit, how to market, what you need to send and bring with you and how to maximize your visibility once there. Many filmmakers have come to Kathi over the years for individual coaching for their festival journey, once they've finished their films. Kathi Carey is an award-winning writer/producer/director whose films have won over 50 awards. She has navigated the process of both the Emmy FYC and the Academy Awards and wrote a book about all of it: CAST YOURSELF: The Actor's Guide to Self-Producing. She is passionate about her film and TV projects and helping others navigate the entertainment business.
